The Greenwood Elementary School Community Gallery was started late last school year to showcase student artwork throughout the local community.
We purchased frames through a grant and sought out local businesses, to display student artwork year-round. We currently have 5 local businesses participating.
The frames are changed approximately every month (every other during the summer).
This opportunity has brought a great deal of pride to our young artists, school, and community. It is exciting to walk in and hear people talking about the art and even more exciting to see students pulling their family into the local ice cream shop to see their art, before getting in line for their cone.
